The new trailer for the highly-anticipated film Winnie: The Winnie Mandela Story has debuted today. In the new trailer, we’re introduced to Oscar award winner Jennifer Hudson playing Winnie Mandela, and Terrence Howard as Nelson Mandela.

The film centers around Winnie Mandela’s life and her role as South Africa’s controversial former first lady. The film was shot in South Africa last year.

No official theatrical release date has been announced.
