This year’s San Diego Comic-Con will have a huge amount of Black talent around to showcase their upcoming films and TV series, as well as comic book artists. BlackFilm.com has released an urban guide to the event that includes appearances by some of Black Hollywood’s biggest names.
The Black Panel is something that occurs yearly with a couple of regular contributors such as Reggie Hudlin and Denys Cowan out to support urban comic book artists. They will help celebrate the life and work of Dwayne McDuffie, who passed away early this year. Scott Sanders, Michael Jai White and Byron Minns will be support the animated series for Black Dynamite.
Jason Momoa will be on hand to promote his upcoming film, ‘Conan the Barbarian,’ and HBO’s Games of Thrones, while Idris Elba will be around to promote two films, Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim and Ghost Rider-Spirit of Vengeance. Michael Ealy will be there to promote Underworld: Awakenings with Kate Beckinsale, whileJohn Boyega be out to plug Attack The Block.
The are plenty of actors who found day jobs in the TV world that will be present such as Michael Jai White, Malik Yoba, Mekhi Phifer, Lance Reddick, LL Cool J, Sanaa Lathan, Reagan Gomez and the cast of The Cleveland Show, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Mos Def, Rutina Wesley,and may more.

3:00-4:00 Game of Thrones Panel and Q&A session— Based on the bestselling fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R.
