The Brits are coming! Actor/Director Richard Ayoade has been cast in the role of Jamarcus for the upcoming comedy Neighborhood Watch.

Ayoade joins a star-studded cast including Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Jonah Hill.

If this project seems familiar to you, we recently posted a story about Chris Tucker being close to landing a role in the film. However, Variety reports that the role has actually been given to Ayoade instead.

The film centers around a group of men who form a neighborhood watch group in an effort to escape their family lives. However, that plan backfires when the group actually stumbles upon a real terror plot.

Ayodae’s acting credits include “The IT Crowd,” “Bunny and the Bull,” and “AD/BC: A Rock Opera.”
