Aisha Tyler has joined CBS daytime talk show ‘The Talk’ as a new co-host. Tyler, who was previously a guest host on the show, will begin appearing on the show today.

The actress and comedian joins Sheryl Underwood, Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, and Sharon Osbourne at the round table. Tyler is the second new co-host to join the show following the departure of Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete.

Tyler, perhaps best known for acting role on CBS’ Ghost Whisperer, became the first black actor to land a major role on the hit show Friends. Tyler has also guest hosted on several top-rated shows, including CBS’ Late Late Show and Entertainment Tonight, E’s Talk Soup, and ABC’s The View.

Has CBS officially redeemed themselves? We think so!
