EXCLUSIVE: Terrence Howard Offered Lead Role in ‘Crew Six’ TV Film, Producer Speaks

Terrence Howard has been offered the lead role in ABC’s Hallmark Hall of Fame television film “Crew Six.”

Variety first reported the casting news, but offered no details about the film itself. However, we can exclusively report that Howard will play the lead role of DJ, a correctional officer who runs an unusual program that trains female inmates of a correctional facility to become volunteer fire fighters.

Producers tell us they are eyeing Howard for the lead role, though nothing has been set in stone. Casting will begin within the next week or so. Filming begins on Nov 14. in Atlanta with Darnell Martin directing.
