Marlon Wayans may be returning to television in a new comedy series on ABC.

Wayans is set to write, executive produce and star in a comedy pilot being developed for ABC. According to Deadline, the comedy “has an odd couple/buddy cop comedy feel to it, centers on two brothers, both cops. Having fallen down on his luck, one of them moves in with his brother and his family.” Wayans will play the married brother.

Wayans appeared on “The Wayans Bros.” series for five seasons. His other acting credits include “White Girls” and “Requiem for a Dream.” The actor is currently working with Dreamgirls director Bill Condon on the Richard Pryor biopic, in which he is set to star.
