Gibson revealed the casting news over the weekend when he tweeted that he and Henson will be making another “classic” with Singleton as the director. The last time we saw Gibson and Henson in a film together was in Singleton’s 2001 Baby Boy, an urban drama in which they played two lovers in a dysfunctional relationship. The film launched their careers and they’ve made public appearances together ever since. Most recently, Henson appeared in Gibson’s music video for his latest single “Stay.”
