Alicia Keys and the cast of STICK FLY will greet ticket buyers & sign autographs at the Cort Theatre – THIS WEDNESDAY, Nov 16 from 12-1PM!

On Wednesday, Nov 16 from 12-1PM, Alicia Keys and cast members of STICK FLY will greet and sign autographs for ticket buyers in the lobby of the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48th Street).  This event commemorates the Broadway debut of Lydia R. Diamond’s critically-acclaimed American play. Directed by Kenny Leon, the production begins performances this Friday, November 18 in advance of a Thursday, December 8 opening.

Everyone who purchases a ticket at the box office the morning of Wednesday, November 16 (beginning at 10 a.m.) will be given an opportunity to stand in line to have a STICK FLY poster signed by and to meet Alicia Keys and cast members. No one may line up for the poster signing without proof of ticket purchase. Ticket buyers may choose to leave the box office after purchase and come back to the line, but they will forfeit their spot in the line.

Returning to the Broadway stage, Emmy Award nominee Dulé Hill (“Psych,” “The West Wing”) will play Kent “Spoon” Levay (a writer), Tracie Thoms (Rent, “Cold Case,” The Devil Wears Prada) will play Taylor (Kent’s fiancée and an entomologist), Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Seven Guitars, Lackawanna Blues) will play Joe Levay (Kent & Flip’s father and a neurosurgeon) and Rosie Benton will play Kimber (a part-time teacher and Flip’s white girlfriend.) Making their Broadway debuts, Mekhi Phifer (“ER,” 8 Mile) will play Flip Levay (a plastic surgeon), and Drama Desk Award nominee Condola Rashad (Ruined) will play Cheryl (a maid).

Tickets for performances on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday range in price from $35 to $131.50. Tickets on Friday, Saturday & Sunday range in price from $35 to $121.50.

The Cort Theatre is located at 138 West 48th Street between 6th & 7th Avenues.  We hope to see you there on Wednesday!
