Michael K. Williams Cut from Quentin Tarantino’s Slave Movie ‘Django Unchained’

Michael Kenneth Williams was reportedly in deep negotiations to join controversial director Quentin Tarantino‘s new epic slavery western Django Unchained. However, multiple sources are saying that negotiations have gone downhill.

In a recent interview, the actor revealed a role in the film was created especially for him. Sources close to the project say the Williams’ Broadwalk Empire schedule conflicts with production dates for ‘Unchained,’ so the role has been scrapped from the film completely.

But things aren’t looking too shabby for Williams. The actor will be joining Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock in a new action film titled ‘Snitch.’ According to Deadline, he’ll play a “narcotics kingpin with a short temper who becomes involved with a man (Johnson) who is turning DEA snitch to get his son a reduced prison stretch.”
