Tyler Perry’s ‘For Better or Worse’ TV Series Off To A Great Start, Debuts at 3.4 Mil Viewers

Posted on November 29, 2011 /TV

Tyler Perry came through over the holiday weekend with his new series For Better or Worse. The show premiered Friday to 3.4 million viewers. Though it fell short more than 2 million viewers from  Perry’s first series the House of Payne, which premiered in 2007.

Launching a scripted series in the middle of a four-day holiday would certainly be doomsday for any regular name, but the Perry brand stayed true to its glory by pulling impressive numbers.

The cast did an amazing job. For a sitcom with no laugh track, it was pretty funny to watch. Viewers with cable television can catch up on the two half-hour episodes from last week by visiting the TBS website.
