‘All My Children’s’ Denise Vasi to Replace Stacey Dash on VH1’s ‘Single Ladies’

Denise Vasi‘All My Children’s’ Denise Vasi has landed a lead role on the second season of VH1’s wildly popular dramedy series Single Ladies.

According to Deadline, Producer Queen Latifah and creator Stacy Littlejohn have chosen Vasi, who recently starred in the daytime drama ‘All My Children’ and the film ‘What’s Your Number.’

Vasi will play the new role of Raquel, a close friend of Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy) who is a savvy business woman from a prominent Southern family on a quest to discover passion. “Denise is the perfect addition to the Single Ladies cast,” Latifah said. “She is bringing a fun, new element to the show.”

Production on the second season will begin January in Atlanta, with an early summer 2012 premiere.
