Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue (Full Spread)

Two African-American female actors made the (inside) cover of Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue. Adepero Oduye, the breakout star of the hit Indie flick Pariah, landed a spot in the prestigious issue. Actress Paula Patton (Jumping The Broom) was also picked as one of the new rising stars of 2012 with her high-profile gig in Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol. The photo shoot was shot by the infamous Mario Testino.

Other actress featured in the spread include Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Elizabeth Olsen, Shailene Woodley, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, and Brit Marling.

The magazine has taken a lot of heat over the years for not including any black people in it’s annual Hollywood issue. Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction.
