A new trailer for Andrew Dosumu‘s highly-anticipated film Restless City was released today via THR. Sparse on dialogue, big on images, the trailer leaves viewers with more questions than anything else. Who are these people and what is this film about? Is this a foreign language film? Mysterious trailers have become somewhat of the norm with AFFRM releases, but they alway seem to deliver a solid film in the end. Restless City centers an “African immigrant surviving on the fringes of New York City.” The film screened at Sundance last year and received mostly positive reviews…for it’s stunning visuals. Anthony Okungbowa,Babs Olusanmokun, Alassane Sy, Nicole Grey, and The Walking Dead‘s Danai Gurira round out the cast. How will the film add up in terms of acting and storytelling? Check out the trailer.

Restless City will open in limited theatrical release in New York, L.A. and Atlanta on April 27, with additional cities to be announced at a later date.
