The new trailer for The Magic of Belle Isle has arrived online today. The well crafted trailer features the talents of veteran actor Morgan Freeman and Kenan Thompson as a duo battling the struggles of addiction.

Reuniting with his director from the hit film, “The Bucket List,” Freeman plays Monte Wildhorn, a famous Western novelist whose struggle with alcoholism has sapped his passion for writing. He takes a lakeside cabin for the summer in picturesque Belle Isle, and befriends the family next door—an attractive single mom (Virginia Madsen) and her young daughters—who help him find inspiration again.

Belle Isle will hit VOD on June 1st, and will then roll out into theaters on July 6th. Watch the trailer below.
