The Cast of 'Mr. Box Office'

Bill Bellamy is back on the black Hollywood scene. The actor was recently spotted shooting a pilot episode for a new comedy series titled ‘Mr. Box Office.’ The series, co-written by Comics Unleashed show-runner Byron Allen, will follow Bellamy as a fictional movie star forced to do community service after attacking a photographer.

The series will co-star some pretty familiar names like Vivica A. Fox, Rick Fox, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Tim Meadows, and JB Smoove. It’s unclear wheter the show has been officially picked up as of yet, but it’s rumored to premiere on CW-affiliate channels by this fall.

Created and written by Byron Allen and Scott Satin (First Family), Mr. Box Office centers on actor Marcus Jackson (Bellamy), one of the biggest movie stars in the world who, after pushing a paparazzi, finds himself having to put his film career on hold, while relegated to a long-term community service stint teaching underprivileged high school kids in South Central. Rick Fox, repped by TalenWorks and The Collective, will play a physical education teacher at the school. Vivica Fox, repped by Media Artists Group, will play a cougar history teacher. Allen and Satin are executive producing with Bellamy, Barry Katz and Carolyn Folks.
