Here’s an exclusive look at Anthony Mackie in the Tim Burton-produced Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

The film, directed by Timur Bekmambetov and adapted from Seth Grahame-Smith‘s best selling novel, blends history and fiction in a cool story about US president Abraham Lincoln fighting for mankind by freeing slaves and  killing vampire oppressors trying to take over the world. Mackie plays William Johnson, the President’s personal valet and gun-toting right hand man.

In the new pics, we see Mackie getting in on all of the gory action while dressed in 19th century garb. The actor also appears to be captured by killer vamps in a behind-the-scenes image from the editing room.

Vampire Hunter also stars Benjamin Walker as Abraham Lincoln with Dominic Cooper as Henry Sturgess, Alan Tudyk as Stephen A. Douglas, and Jaqueline Fleming as Harriet Tubman.
