Corbin Bleu in Broadway's 'Godspell'

Corbin Bleu (‘High School Musical’) returns to the stage as Jesus Christ in the Broadway revival of Godspell. Bleu took up the role on April 17, previously played by caucasian actor Hunter Parish.

The Gospel According to St. Matthew is presented in a series of skits and songs, with Jesus and his disciples presented as loving clowns, in this musical featuring songs by Grammy winner Stephen Schwartz.

Directed by Daniel Goldstein and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli, Godspell stars Bleu as Jesus and Wallace Smith as Judas. Co-stars Uzo Aduba, Celisse Henderson, and more.
