Cuba Gooding Jr ‘Guilty’ Pilot May Still Get Picked Up Next Year

Fox’s legal drama pilot Guilty wasn’t picked up for Fall 2012 Season, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t move forward on the network. According to Deadline, some of the casts’ options have been extended because the project is being considered for the Fall 2013 season lineup. Unfortunately, one of the co-stars may not return for the debut.

Production co. Warner Bros. TV has extended the option for male lead Cuba Gooding Jr to stay on board for the possible launch next year. The option on Sharon Leal was not extended. Details on how this came about are still unknown. However, it’s an unusually long time for an actor to wait for a show to get picked up . So, perhaps there’s still a chance Leal could possibly rejoin the project in the future.
