Nooses, slave auctions and dream sequences are some of the things viewers should expect to see in Quentin Tarantino‘s star-studded new film, Django Unchained. We get a closer look at some of the leading black characters in the latest group of images. Jamie Foxx is seen as the titular slave-turned-bounty hunter–riding through a town where nooses hang freely from buildings. We also get a close up of Samuel L. Jackson‘s dramatic transformation into a sadistic house slave out to teach Django a lesson. Kerry Washington also shows her range as Broomhilda–the wife of Django who’s kidnapped and taken to a plantation to work as a slave.

Django Unchained is currently filming in Louisiana. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters this Christmas.
