Sinqua Walls has joined the Season 2 cast of ABC’s fairy tale drama “Once Upon a Time,” which premieres Sept. 30. According to TVLine, Walls will appear in at least one episode in the new season.

The actor will play Sir Lancelot, described as “a sword for hire with nothing to lose.” Walls’ character is modeled after the same Lancelot of folklore, and his role will closely resemble the old tale of King Arthur and his White Knight.

In the story, Lancelot has an affair with Queen Guinivere, but he is banished after a rumor surfaces that doesn’t sit well with his former lover. Lancelot goes mad and wanders the wilderness for two years.

Walls television credits include “Friday Night Lights,” “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” and most recently, MTV’s “Teen Wolf.”
