Michael Clarke Duncan was laid to rest yesterday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, CA.

The funeral was attended by a lot of Duncan’s famous friends and former co-stars including, among others, Vivica A. Fox, Robert Townsend, Holly Robinson Peete, Ving Rhames, Kimberly Elise and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

The service was led by a gospel choir  with singers Angie Stone, Kelly Price, Kenny Lattimore and Abraham McDonald lending their voices for the private event.  Among the speakers were his  ’Green Mile’ co-star Tom Hanks, Jay Leno, and surprisingly, Duncan’s physician.

Duncan passed away on Sept. 3 from complications due to a heart attack he suffered in July. He was 54 years old.
