House of Lies is setting the stage for one of the biggest reunions in modern black cinematic history.

Larenz Tate and Nia Long have been cast in recurring roles on Season 2 of the Don Cheadle-led comedy series.

House of Lies follows the charming, fast talking Marty Kaan (Cheadle) and his crack team of management consultants know how to play the corporate game better than anyone, by using every dirty trick in the book to woo powerful CEOs and close huge deals. In the board rooms, barrooms, and bedrooms of the power elite, corruption is business as usual and everyone’s out for themselves first.

Tate will play Marty’s (Cheadle) younger, less ambitious activist brother, while Long will play a fellow consultant and former classmate of Marty’s who proves to be a formidable foe.

The casting marks a reunion for Tate and Long, who co-starred in the 1997 feature Love Jones, as well as for Tate and Cheadle, who co-starred in the 2004 drama Crash.

Tate’s television credits include “South Central,” “Waterfront” and most recently, “Rescue Me.” Long can currently be seen in the Target web series “Falling For You.” Her credits include “Judging Amy” “Third Watch” and “The Cleveland Show.”

House of Lies begins shooting in LA next month and will premiere Sunday, Jan. 13 at 10/9c on Showtime.
