Billy Dee Williams to Guest Star on ABC’s ‘Modern Family’

Billy Dee Williams has just been tapped to guest star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s “Modern Family.”
Williams will appear in the holiday episode titled “New Year’s Eve,’ according to EW, who first reported the news. The legendary actor will play himself in the episode and will have a run-in with Ed O’Neill‘s character Jay, who crosses paths with him during a game of cards while on a family holiday trip to Palm Springs.
Williams appeared on “NCIS” earlier this year and recurred on USA’s “White Collar” last year. He is best known for his various roles in films like Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, Mahogany, and Lady Sings The Blues.
