Fox’s supernatural drama Touch will welcome a new black face to it’s second season cast.

Mykelti Williamson has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming second season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The Keifer Sutherland-led drama centers on a father, who’s emotionally challenged 11-year-old son predicts the future.

Williamson will play a LAPD detective, who’s described as “having seen it all and possessing a keen sense for the truth.”

Williamson, best known as Bubba in Forest Gump, joins the ranks of previous black cast members Danny Glover, Deidrie Henry and series regular Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Williamson television credits include “CSI:NY,” “24” and most recently, “Justified.”

“Touch” Season 2 premieres Friday, Feb. 1 at 9/8c on Fox.
