NBC Sitcom Being Developed by Kenan Thompson
It looks as though hard work is about to pay off for a very deserving former child actor.
Kenan Thompson, who has worked on NBC’s SNL since 2003, is developing a sitcom for the network, according to THR.
The untitled project will center on Kenan Monroe, “a guy who moves from New York to his in-laws’ house in the suburbs, where he must contend with three generations of problems.”
The network has entered into a script commitment. If picked up, Thompson will write, star, and executive produce the single-camera show.
Thompson rose to fame in the hit television comedy series “All That” and “Kenan and Kel.” He was seen earlier this year alongside Morgan Freeman in The Magic of Belle Isle.
