Eamonn Walker to Guest Star as Frederick Douglass on BBC America’s ‘Copper’
BBC America’s Copper has cast it’s Frederick Douglas.
Eamonn Walker has been tapped to play abolitionist Frederick Douglass in the upcoming second season of the network’s highest-rated drama series.
Set in 1860s New York City, the series centers on Kevin Corcoran (Tom Weston-Jones), an intense, rugged Irish-immigrant cop working the city’s notorious Five Points neighborhood and struggling to maintain his moral compass in a turbulent world.
The series also stars black actors Ato Essandoh and Tessa Thompson.
Production is currently underway in Toronto. Copper will debut it’s second season in summer 2013.
Best known for his role as Kareem Said on the HBO prison drama Oz, Walker currently appears as a regular on NBC’s Chicago Fire.
